Marco&#8217;s compositions are similarly &#8216;progressive&#8217; in their own way.<\/p>\n<p>He has given more than\u00a0700 concerts\u00a0as part of organ and piano festivals around the world and his performances\u00a0\u00a0have been broadcast in radio and television including BBC TV and Radio.<\/p>\n<p>John and Marco have\u00a0performed regularly together since 2009 in the UK and Europe. John wrote and recorded <em>Thoughts turn Homeward<\/em> for\u00a0Marco&#8217;s album\u00a0<strong>The Book of Bilbo and Gandalf<\/strong> and\u00a0Marco wrote the solo flute composition\u00a0<em>Bilbo&#8217;s Dream<\/em> for John.<\/p>\n<h3>Playing the History<\/h3>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.playingthehistory.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft\" src=\"http:\/\/www.playingthehistory.com\/1\/images\/440_0_4858070_162609.jpg\" alt=\" - Playing The History\" width=\"300\" height=\"400\" \/><\/a>In 2012 they were joined by bass player Carlo Mateucci and out of this collaboration was born the idea of recording acoustic versions of classic progressive rock tunes.
