Weekend bopping

On Friday night at The Greystones, Sheffield it warmed the cockles of my heart to see some members of the audience bopping wildly away to Burnt Down Trees (among others) – please bring your lovely family to all our gigs, Howard! I was happy to join him for Seven Long Years written for his late father and dedicated on Friday to the memory of Eric Bouillette – it seemed fitting at a time when so many are feeling a keen sense of loss. And then Saturday on to Oundle where at the third attempt we got to share the evening with the wonderful The Blackheart Orchestra. All thanks to Adrian on sound and to our kind host Bob Cheatham for persevering with this one. Do get along to The Soundle Weekend in a couple of weeks’ time – a fantastic opportunity to see a lot of great acts!
