What a fab weekend it has been! On Saturday we were at Wrecking Ball Hull where local girl Carrie Martin started the evening with her lovely singing and guitar playing (and love that dulcimer, Carrie!). The room was a joy to play in and all thanks to Gary, Tim, Kim and Matt for excellent sound. Then on Sunday we were at Barnoldswick Music & Arts Centre where Ms Amy Birks began with a set of her own and Beatrix Players material accompanied by Oliver Day and Matt Lumb with me on flute. Huge thanks to our host Peter Barton for his kindness, even coming to the rescue with a replacement bass guitar when Jeremy’s decided it wanted the night off… These are both cracking venues to be recommended if you want your music in a more intimate setting.And of course thanks so much to everyone who came along to support us!
